Project Description

For some reason everyone at LSES hated the existing offroad vehicle. The granger was too basic and the rest of the Caracara's were always too "slidey" and had no traction, But I ended up loving it. I took their criticisms and endeavoured to fix it. The new updated vehicle had a completely recalibrated system that allowed for rapid speed on the road while also having insane traction and grip on offroad terrain.

People still hated using it though, except for me haha but that doesn't matter. What does is that it works and it looks cool. The design incorporates a permanent trunk canopy that ideally would be used to house offroad rescue supplies or additional bed space for transporting a patient, The included side skirting of "mountain rescue" was simply a personal preference for it's use.

THE DESIGN

I took inspiration for the design from the existing fleet and brand scheme as well as a mix of Scottish mountain rescue vehicles and the NSW SES Toyota Hilux design. It's a slight variation on the existing fleet design, the only things that match are honestly the colours and the angles.

THE RESPONSE

Everyone still hated it, Turns out they just liked to use the scout. I don't see the fun in that haha.
